Varkaus Mill
Varkaus mill is a versatile bioproduct mill integrate. Varkaus mill consists of Containerboard Mill, Sawmill and LVL Mill.
Containerboard Mill operations include wood handling plant, pulp mill, recycled fibre plant and papermachine 3, PM3, which produces kraftliners. LVL Mill produces Laminated Veneer Lumber for the construction industry and Sawmill traditional sawn and planed timber.
Varkaus Mill’s annual wood (pine and spruce) consumption is approx. 2 milj. cubes per year. Procurement of the wood is done mainly from 100 km radius around the mill.
Varkaus Mill integrate employs approx. 420 permanent workers in operations and maintenance.
